Product & Quality Information
What is your neon lighting solution?
All our lighting solutions use a LED Flexible Neon, which is a specially designed solution to replace traditional glazed neon in signing. It is perfect for any home, especially in children's bedrooms as it is safe, reliable and low cost.
How safe are your Neon signs?
Our LED neon produces relatively no heat, there is no gas or risk of shattering/breakage of glass like traditional Neon. It is made entirely of PVC and acrylic which is safe to touch and good for the environment.
How do your Neon Signs connect to Power?
All our signs connect directly into a standard power socket, meaning they don’t require any hard wiring, unlike traditional Neon. All shapes and custom words/names are 12V connected with a transformer. Safe for any kid’s bedroom.
What is the longevity of your signs?
Each LED bulb generally has a lifespan of 50,000 hours which means if it is on 24 hours a day it will generally last 5-6 years. This is quite a LONG time. If purchased, the signs come with dimmers which can greatly enhance the sign’s lifespan.
What if I want something custom?
If you are after a custom sign, we suggest you try out our Online Neon Builder, where you can select the font/size and see what it will look like. We have a range of backgrounds you can choose from so you can really understand what you will receive. The dimensions and pricing will be listed automatically in reference to the design you choose.
Alternatively, if you have a particular image or phrase in mind, send us an email and we can provide you with a quote and any other information you’re after.
Why is Neon Poodle more expensive than other Neon companies?
Here at Neon Poodle we only use a premium quality neon for all our signs to ensure they’re enjoyed for a lifetime. As the DIP neon structure we use invites a longer life span to our products, this may explain the higher prices in comparison to other neon companies who use a SMD base (6-12 month longevity) for their signs.
My neon sign has a few smudges on it around the neon, why?
All our lights are completely hand-made and in the production process some of the special glue used to fix the item may leave a slight clear stain. This is perfectly safe and when fixed to the wall, this won’t be visible. If you have any more questions, please contact us.
